The Finbin® Edge belongs to the Finbin® Litter Bin Series and is part of the Edge family. It is a modular recycling bin series and designed for indoor use. It is a stylish solution for shopping centres, hospitals, airports, museums, shops and offices. Its flexible modular system offers a practical recycling solution for any need.
This flexible bin is a modular waste collection system. Edge bins are available with different recycling lids, and several bins in a row form a uniform recycling station. It comes in galvanised steel, powder coated (metallic black) or is constructed from a combination of both. The lid comes in metallic black colour which has a structured finishing and is not available in any other colours.
The recycling labels can be customised to depict different colours to blend in with indoor areas, and recycling labels can also be customised. The unit can include a fire safety system (flap and fire-trace cable) which is available as an accessory but this is only available on one type of lid which accommodates general wastes. The shape of the other apertures does not support the fire safety system.
The sizes of the apertures vary dependent on waste fraction. The height of the bin is 783mm high, 380mm wide. It is a free-standing bin, and the exterior can be either in powder coated metallic black, stainless steel with a metallic black lid, or can be powder coated (RAL) to match existing outside environment. (Orders under 10 bins will incur an additional charge if the colour is other than our standard metallic black.) It is easy to clean and can be coated with an antibacterial coating. It is easily emptied by opening the lockable hinged lid on the top of the bin, revealing a pivoted sack holder rim which is both easy and safe to empty.
The Edge bins have already been installed in a number of transport hubs including: Tallinn Railway Station (Estonia), Tallink-Silja Ferries (Estonia).
