The new space has been imaginatively re-designed and sustainably built in a beautiful position overlooking the Grand Union Canal. With sustainability at the forefront of this project, expressed timber construction and exposed concrete columns create a unique interior, while the green roof, solar shading and outdoor terraces continue the environmental theme outside.

"From its inception the redevelopment of the Gramophone Works has intended to create a campus identity with a range of workspace sizes and offerings in order to encourage a diverse and eclectic mix of users. The external spaces between the new and old buildings have been opened up and integrated to create usable semi-public active routes through and around the campus."

All Urban was brought in to supply striking and befitting exterior lighting into their beautiful courtyard, where four of the Urbidermis Santa & Cole Arne S Catenary Floodlights currently hang. The ARNE S floodlight complements lighting at lower levels. It is very useful for night-lighting buildings, gardens and walkways. Its light is variable in intensity, colour, control and degree of dispersion or concentration, to highlight the best roads or monuments and compliments this refurbished space with its stylish design.

We were delighted to be a part of this striking project in London and our client, Studio RHE, were very pleased with the finished result.

"The courtyard space links the Grand Union Canal towpath with Kensal Road and opens up onto the reception and cafe spaces. The Catenary lights suspended above the courtyard physically unite the buildings and provide a good level of light to encourage movement through it and activity within it."
